Otherwise we're just waiting it out while Canvas works on fixing it. I haven't personally tested it, but they say the links work when you do that. One suggested work-around is for users to download and open the PDF rather than using the DocViewer. Known behaviors are being triaged by the Canvas engineering team-feature ideas do not need to be submitted regarding their functionality. The good news is that there is a paragraph or so above that says: Hyperlinks in documents are not retained. Towards the bottom of that document is a list of known issues, including: ![]() If so, then this is a known Issue with DocViewer. That is, you can create the hyperlinks, but they're not coming through inside Canvas when viewing the document. Not quite sure from the description of the problem, but the title makes it sound like you're getting bitten by a known issue with the new DocViewer in Canvas.
